Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Agustín Errecalde, operating under the Focusoft brand, based in Argentina, is responsible for the processing of personal data collected through focusoft.dev. For enquiries: agustin.errecalde.dev@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you explicitly send us: contact details (name, email, optional phone number) when you fill in the form; the content of your conversation with Focusyn when you use it; IP address and user-agent for technical purposes (rate limiting, abuse prevention); and aggregated analytics data (pages visited, devices) via self-hosted Umami — no cookies, no third-party data sharing. We do not use third-party cookies or advertising trackers.

3. How we use your data

To respond to your enquiry and send you a commercial proposal, to prevent site abuse (rate limiting, anti-bot), and to improve the site through aggregated analytics.

4. Legal basis

Explicit consent when submitting the form, and legitimate interest in preventing site abuse.

5. Sub-processors

To operate the site we use the following providers, who may process your data under their own policies:

• Google (Gemini API): processes chat content to generate responses. Data is not used for training.
• Resend: sends verification emails (OTP).
• Upstash Redis: stores OTP tokens and rate-limit counters.
• Cloudflare: anti-bot protection via Turnstile.
• Telegram: internal notifications to the owner when a new lead arrives.
• Hostinger: VPS hosting where the site runs.

6. Data retention

• Lead data (name, email, phone, message): retained for a maximum of 90 days from creation, then automatically deleted.
• Chat conversations: history lives in your browser (localStorage) for up to 24 hours. Additionally, an anonymized copy of each conversation —with email, phone and full name redacted— is stored on our server for up to 90 days for quality auditing and continuous improvement of the assistant. We do not share these records with third parties. If you complete the contact form, a copy of the conversation is also associated with the corresponding lead under the same redaction.
• OTP codes: 5-minute TTL in Redis.
• Technical logs: up to 30 days, with personal data automatically redacted.

7. Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection. To exercise any right, write to agustin.errecalde.dev@gmail.com — we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you also have rights to portability, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Local storage

The site uses the browser's localStorage solely to preserve your Focusyn conversation for 24 hours and to remember your preference regarding this notice. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising tracking.

9. Security

TLS-encrypted connections (HTTPS), personal data automatically redacted in logs, rate limiting by IP and by email, CAPTCHA verification (Cloudflare Turnstile), and no storage of card or payment data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we modify this policy, we update the "Last updated" date above. Substantial changes will be announced prominently on the site.
